Introducing Interlines
I'm excited to announce Interlines: what I hope will become an ongoing quarterly magazine/photo book series that'l serve as the definitive collection of my photos from a given destination complete with stories and writings inspired by my time on the road.
It's no secret that travel and photography are two of my biggest passions: I've been all over the world trying to get the shot and to showcase the underlying cultures along the way. I also went to school for journalism so a love for writing and AP style has been emblazoned into my DNA. Over the last few months, I've been toying with ideas for how to tell those stories in ways that reach beyond the Instagram caption. This newsletter has let me tell long-form stories in a format that feels more conducive to the photo essays I envision when heading out on the street to cover an event. My NYC marathon essay feels like the epitome of what I want The Notepad to be long-term, even if it means that I can't hit the weekly post cadence that was in my head when relaunching this newsletter.
By no means am I leaving this newsletter behind, but I am slowing down just a smidge to make way for a new project (one of my biggest toxic traits is always jumping into something new). Anyways, I'm excited to announce Interlines: what I hope will become an ongoing quarterly magazine/photo book series that'l serve as the definitive collection of my photos from a given destination complete with stories and writings inspired by my time on the road.
This project is meant to whet your appetite for these destinations and be a portal into these places for the time that you spend with them. I recognize that it's an immense privilege to travel especially when you're young so my goal is to take you along as a friend and show you the sights I encounter along the way.
My goal is to have issue one from Malta out by August, and it'll be available both physically and digitally with options to ship it worldwide. Interlines will be free digitally with my Second Shooter membership for $5/month or $50/year.
I'm looking forward to bringing this project to life and going down a few rabbit holes along the way.
